All the watches are fitted with a standard silver oxide button cell battery readily available at most watchmakers and/or jewelers.

Batteries fitted in our timepieces are expected to last between 2 to 4 years depending on external factors such as, but not limited to: external temperature, humidity, air pressure, etc.

The casings of Daniel Wellington's silver watches are made of stainless steel, while those of our rose gold watches have a stainless steel core and two platings. The base plating is 0.8 Micron TiCN (a yellow colored base metal) and the top coating is made of 0.1 Micron rose gold (made of 85% 23 karat gold and 15% copper to create the rose color).

The glass of the watch is made of hardened mineral glass, which is resistant to normal wear-and-tear but should be used with care. Kindly note that a damaged glass/crystal is not covered under the 24-month warranty.

All of Daniel Wellington's leather watchbands are made of genuine leather.

As leather is an organic material, all watchbands will vary in grain as well as texture. Changes in the hue that come with regular wear are a natural part of the aging process when it comes to high-quality leather.

Daniel Wellington's NATO wristbands are made of polyester.

Leather watchbands – Daniel Wellington does not recommend you to wash the leather wristband. Exposure to water can dry the leather and possibly cause damage to the wristband. However, a local watchmaker or watch retailer may have cleaning products specifically designed for leather.

NATO watchbands – After removing the watch face from the wristband, apply lukewarm water and soap to the band and scrub gently. Then rinse the band and leave it to dry flat on a towel.

Mesh watchbands- After removing the watch face from the wristband, gently scrub the mesh strap with a mix of water and just a little bit of detergent using a toothbrush or similar item to get in-between the spaces of your band.

To ensure the authenticity of a Daniel Wellington timepiece, it must be purchased directly from our website or from an authorized Daniel Wellington retailer.

If purchasing from e-commerce platforms such as eBay and Groupon or an unauthorized third party vendor on Amazon, there is a risk of receiving a timepiece that is counterfeit, used, or defective.

The prices visible on Daniel Wellington's US and Global Daniel Wellington websites are stated in USD. These prices exclude possible duties and taxes which are either added or deducted at the checkout.

Daniel Wellington is not responsible for any discrepancies in currency values or conversation rates that your bank or credit card company may use when purchasing from Daniel Wellington's website. Should you have questions concerning this, please contact your bank or credit card company, respectively.

An itemized packaging slip is included with all of Daniel Wellington's orders, however, this document does not include any pricing information. Daniel Wellington asks that you hold onto this slip, as the information it contains will help Daniel Wellington quickly look up your order in the event that the order needs to be returned or a warranty claim issued.

Free standard shipping is provided by Daniel Wellington when purchasing a timepiece.

Placing an order containing only accessories – no timepiece(s) – may be subject to an additional shipping cost (depending on your subtotal amount) and will be displayed in your total at checkout.

Express shipping options are available for US customers at an additional cost.

If you have received your UPS Tracking Number, Daniel Wellington urges you to directly contact your local UPS Office; UPS will have more accurate information on the status of the delivery.

If you have not received your UPS Tracking Number, please contact Daniel Wellington and Daniel Wellington will look into this for you, immediately.

If you wish to make a change in your delivery address, please contact Daniel Wellington and Daniel Wellington will do our best to assist you in this matter.

In the event Daniel Wellington is unable to process the address change directly on our system, usually, because the package has already been shipped, Daniel Wellington will need to contact Daniel Wellington's courier to make any modifications to the delivery address.

Kindly observe, this process will delay the delivery time; Daniel Wellington is not responsible for any delay in delivery due to an address change request by the customer.

In the event you wish to cancel your order, please contact Daniel Wellington. 

Upon receiving your cancellation request, Daniel Wellington will reach out to Daniel Wellington's courier service and request that the package be rerouted back to our warehouse. Once Daniel Wellington receives the returned package, Daniel Wellington will process the order, issue a full refund to your account, and notify you via email.

Kindly note that at this time Daniel Wellington is unable to cancel orders before they are shipped.

Due to high volumes, you may not receive your order confirmation instantly. The order confirmation and/or your tracking information will be sent out to you via email within the nearest 48 hours. Daniel Wellington kindly asks you to wait 48 hours to receive either your order confirmation or your tracking information before contacting us. In the events, you have been debited in your bank account, you can safely know that your order has been successful. Daniel Wellington apologizes for any confusion and thank you for your patience.

Within 1-2 business days of placing your order, after it has been scanned at a UPS Sorting Facility, you will receive an e-mail from UPS containing your package’s tracking information.

Daniel Wellington incorporates several verification stages in the payment process to maximize security.

The total amount of your order will be withdrawn from your bank account when the order and payment have been processed and approved.

In the event that no payment has been received after the order has been submitted, Daniel Wellington may automatically cancel your order without notification.

Daniel Wellington has several verification stages when customers place an order, this is done to provide customers with the highest level of security.

If your order is successful, you should within the next 10 minutes receive an order confirmation via the e-mail address provided by you at the checkout page. If not, please contact Daniel Wellington and Daniel Wellington can assist you in this matter.

There is no invoice included in the package when it is delivered.

Should you wish to have an invoice for your order, simply contact Daniel Wellington and Daniel Wellington will be happy to assist you.

Please note for orders to countries outside the EU, US, Hong Kong, India and China, Daniel Wellington is required by law to include commercial invoices in the package, to state the shipment’s value. The order cannot be delivered without this invoice.

Orders to be delivered to Europe, Canada, and South America are shipped from warehouse in Sweden.

Orders to be delivered to Asia (excluding China), Oceania, Middle East, and Africa are shipped from warehouse in Hong Kong.

Orders to be delivered to China and The United States are sent from warehouses in China and The United States, respectively.
