How Do I Access the Results?
Your results are displayed within your own secure area of the Living DNA customer platform, accessed via your personal username and password.
The interface has been designed to be as simple as possible to navigate and includes helpful image captions and explanatory text. When you get your results, be sure to take the tours, and click all text to explore your portal in full!
An optional add-on of a printed, bound version of your online results can also be purchased for an additional fee (region dependent price, dispatched 3-4 weeks after your online results are available). Call them at (0044) 0203 4243 482 (UK number only) or get in touch at help@livingdna.com to add your printed book. Please have your LD0 kit ID ready.
Can I Have a Status Update On My Testing?
Absolutely! Please get in touch with their dedicated support team at help@livingdna.com for the most up-to-date status of your testing. Please include your LD0 kit ID in all correspondence, to help their team address your query efficiently.
What is Living DNA's One Family One World Project?
The One Family One World project will analyse people’s DNA results from around the world to enable them to see where they fit in the One World Family Tree, and show how everyone is related if you go back far enough in time.
Using proprietary technology, artificial intelligence and machine learning, the project will see tens of thousands of computers working together to identify distinctive and shared patterns in people’s DNA. Over time, this will allow Living DNA to produce the most detailed genetic map of the world, enabling people to explore both their modern ancestry and ancient migration patterns.
Can I Send the Test As a Gift?
Living DNA makes a great gift for almost everyone and around 30% of their tests are given as gifts.
They can send the testing kit to you, or they can send it direct to your intended recipient. If you want the kit sent direct to the recipient this can be done at the point of ordering-- simply enter a different shipping address to your billing address and the testing kit will be sent straight to their door. Unfortunately, they do not offer gift vouchers or gift-wrapping.

It is available to order in local currency in a number of regions of the world. Please note that all results and information are in English only.
Is It Possible to Provide Me With an Example Of the Results?
At this moment, unfortunately, due to the personal nature of the results, they do not have examples available to view or send by post. It is something that they are working towards with their team, and they hope examples can be made available on the website in due course.
How Does the Living DNA Works?
Your ancestry DNA kit comes with step by step instructions to use the mouth swab; it’s fast and simple.
Once complete send the sample back to the lab for testing and they will deliver your results online with the option to request a printed version as well.

Post your sample back
After you collect your DNA sample, pop it in the post using our free returns bag.
