Shaw Academy strongly recommends that you try to attend webinars as student feedback is that they are fun, engaging and more enjoyable than watching recordings. You are also far more likely to complete the course as you will be sticking to a schedule. However, if you can’t attend webinar, of course watching the recordings is the next best thing.
During the webinars, you can ask questions and receive answers in real time. If you do have any outstanding questions after the webinar has finished you can simply email them to support@shawacademy.com. Shaw Academy remains available as a point of support and assistance even after the webinars have concluded.
You can watch recordings on any device that you possess such as computer, laptop, IPad etc. as long as you have an internet connection. You will also need speakers or earphones in order to hear the audio.
Absolutely not. You can watch the recordings as many times as you like whilst you have access to them.
Lesson recordings are only available to stream with an internet connection and you will not have the option to download recordings.
You will have access to the recordings for as long as you are subscribed as a member with Shaw Academy or for as long as you are on a free trial.
All recordings are posted to your Members area 24 hours after the interactive lesson has occurred. To access recordings simply click on “login” on the upper right hand side of Shaw Academy’s home page, enter your user name (your email address) and password. You will then access your Member’s Area and can view recordings.
Webinars will last approximately 1 hour plus bonus 15-20 mins Q+A session.
You can join the webinars using any device as long as you have internet connection. You will receive email reminders prior to the webinar. These emails will contain links to join the webinar or you can access the webinars via the links in the Members Area for your course. If you can’t attend a webinar don’t worry. All lessons are recorded and will be available to view in your Members area 24 hours after the lesson. You will have access to course recordings for as long as you are on a free trial with Shaw Academy or are a Shaw Academy member.
In order to redeem your voucher, you will need to go to Shaw Academy homepage and click on the “login” button in the top right hand corner. When you are brought to the login page click on the link “trying to register or redeem a voucher”. From here you will be brought to the registration page and you will simply need to follow all steps of the process. If you experience any difficulty you can send an email to support@shawacademy.com and our support staff will assist you.
All courses at Shaw Academy are independently accredited by an internationally recognized body for CPD purposes. Courses are also accredited by the CPD Certification Service, which is an independent body that ensures qualifications are in line with the most current professional standards.
Yes, an assignment will be uploaded every week in order to test your knowledge. The weekly assignments are optional and completion is not compulsory in order to obtain your diploma. They are in the format of multiple choice questions. Upon course completion, a final assignment will be made available in the Members area. If you wish to complete the final assignment and receive an E-diploma there will be a €39.95 administration charge. There is no charge for Shaw Academy Premium members. There will also be an option to purchase a hardcopy diploma for €49.95. This is €19.95 for Shaw Academy Premium members.
Shaw Academy's foundation courses are 8 x 1 hour in duration. There is a bonus Q+A session at the end of every lesson lasting for approx. 15-20 mins. Students really enjoy the bonus Q+A sessions. Shaw Academy's Advanced courses run for 12 weeks and will be 24 hours in duration. They are comprised of both a theory and practical element.
All the foundation courses run twice weekly at 7pm UK time for 4 weeks on Mondays and Wednesdays. As Shaw Academy has students from all over the globe, Shaw Academy sends you email reminders in your local time to avoid confusion. Please double check the time zone listed when you register and you can amend it if needed.
That’s no problem. Shaw Academy records every Webinar and upload them to the Members Area. You will have unlimited access to these recordings for as long as you’re subscribed or for the duration of your free trial.
All the courses are delivered via interactive webinars at scheduled times, twice weekly. You will receive email reminders prior to the lesson and times will be in your local time. You can join the webinars only at the scheduled times. You can join via links in the reminder emails or via your course Member area. Some of the courses are on-demand. This means you can start and complete your course at your own pace.
If you forget your password, don’t worry. Click on “Members Area” on Shaw Academy’s homepage and this will take you to the Members Area login page. You will see a “forgot password” link under where you enter your login details. Click on “forgot password” and an email will be sent to your email address in order to reset your password.
You create your login details during registration. Your username is always your email address and you can create a password of your choice. To log in simply go to Shaw Academy’s home page, click “login” on the top right hand corner of the page and you will be brought to the login page. Enter your username and password. You will then be brought to your Member’s area.
