How Long Will My Registry Be Available After the Event?
Your registry will be available for one year after your event date. If you would like to have this time extended, you will need to edit your profile and change the event date. You will still have the ability to create additional registries for specific events like a holiday or a baby's first birthday.
What is the Difference Between a Gift Card and a Shop Card?
A Gift Card is a gift you give or receive for a certain dollar amount. It is redeemable towards merchandise purchases in stores or by phone for catalog orders. Gift Cards may be purchased in stores, online or by catalog.
A Shop Card is a card issued when you are due a credit. It is redeemable only towards merchandise purchases.
Do the Land Of Nod Cards and Certificates Expire?
Any unused balance does not expire and remains on your Gift Card and/or Gift Certificate until it is spent.
Can I Still Use My Land Of Nod Paper Gift Certificates Or Store Merchandise Credit As a Form Of Payment?
Yes. You can still use your paper Gift Certificates or Merchandise Credits as a form of payment in our stores or by mailing them with your Catalog order. However, paper Gift Certificates or Merchandise Credits may not be redeemed online.
Do I Have to Spend the Exact Amount On My Gift/Shop Card?
No way, Jose. If your purchase amount is less than the value of the Gift/Shop Card, you can apply the balance towards your next purchase. If your purchase amount is greater than the card balance, you will need to make additional payment with a credit card or another Gift/Shop Card.
What is the Crate & Barrel Credit Card?
The Crate & Barrel Credit Card can be used to make purchases at Crate & Barrel, CB2 or The Land of Nod (“Crate and Barrel Brand”) stores in the US, catalogs (phone, fax or mail), websites, mobile sites or applications.
What If I Don't Finish Setting Up My Registry Now?
You don't have to do it all at once. As long as you've created a “registrant profile” (sounds so official, doesn't it?), your registry will be here waiting for you. You can add new items or edit your registry any time of day or night.

Our story begins with two friends who expect more from their children’s furniture and feel that high-quality and good design don’t have to be mutually exclusive. So childhood friends Scott Eirinberg and Jamie Cohen took matters into their own hands and founded The Land of Nod in 1996. They started the company in the Chicago suburbs right out of Scott’s own basement, figuring there was nowhere to go but up (literally).
Then in 2001, an unexpected hand reached out to Scott and Jamie in the form of Crate and Barrel. The two companies teamed up to expand their catalog and website, while also making Nod’s products more widely available throughout the US.
