ASOS FAQ

Why Have I Received an Email Saying the Item I've Ordered is Out Of Stock?

When this happens, it means we thought ASOS had stock of the item when you placed the order. However, when ASOS went to pack your order up ASOS realised ASOS didn't have the item available anymore.

ASOS don't tend to restock a lot of items as ASOS is always keeping up with the latest fashion trends. ASOS may occasionally restock an item or receive a suitable return so keep checking the website in case it does come back.

What Do I Do If I Receive a Faulty Item In My Order?

If you discover a fault, please contact the Customer Care team with the order number, the faulty item's name and number, and a description of the fault.

I Have an Incorrect Item In My Order, What Do I Do?

ASOS wants to sort out any issues with incorrect items straight away. Please  contact the Customer Care team with the order number and the incorrect item's name and product code.

Will I Be Charged Customs and Import Charges?

Sales tax is included in our prices stated on our US website.

  • For US customers, ASOS covers all customs and import duties on an order value of up to $2,500. If the value of your order is more than $2,500 you will be responsible for any customs and import duties payable.
  • For orders of less than $2,500, should you be asked to pay any customs and import duties, please keep a proof of payment and contact our Customer Care team using the Contact ASOS panel on the right hand side of the page and they will arrange a refund of these charges where possible.
  • Orders to the US over $800 might be subject to customs clearance which may cause a delay to your shipping.
  •   If you're ordering from Canada or outside of the US, your order may be subject to customs and import duties. ASOS has no control over these charges and ASOS can’t tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. It might be a good idea to contact your local customs office for more information on the current charges.
