Your credit card will be charged only after your item ships. When your order contains more than one item, Costco.com will charge your card for each item individually after it ships. Since shipping times vary by item, your credit card statement may reflect individual charges for each item as it is shipped.
Before your item ships, you'll notice a pre-authorization hold in the amount of your order on your card statement. The pre-authorization validates the credit card number, status, available credit line and billing information to ensure that it matches exactly what the bank or credit card company has on file. At this point your card hasn't been charged yet.
Once an authorization is received, you may notice a decrease in your available credit line. Your bank or credit card company may put a hold on this dollar amount for a specified period of time. Each financial institution has a different policy on the time period of authorization holds. Also, please note that before authorizing the final sale, your bank may attempt to contact you for additional information.
When using a debit card, the full amount of the order will be deducted from your available balance upon authorization.

If you'd like to know the general shipping timeframe for the item you purchased, refer to the product page of the item you ordered. You can also check the Order Confirmation email you received after you placed your order. That email will contain the estimated delivery time information, noted under the heading labeled "Shipping & Terms." Once the item has shipped, your Shipping Confirmation email will also include tracking details.
Prescription drug pricing is easy to access on the website. Just visit Costco.com and select Pharmacy near the top of the page. Then, simply type in the prescription drug's name into the "Search Medications" field.
You'll see the name of the medication. Click on it and you should then see the information you're looking for, including strengths, generic substitutes, and—if available—Costco pricing.
If you are not completely satisfied with your Costco.com contact lens order, simply return your order to the Optical Department of any Costco location. There’s no need to wait in the general returns line at the warehouse.
If you are unable to return your online order at one of our warehouses, please contact Costco. To expedite the processing of your return, please reference your order number.
If your item was delivered by a freight carrier, it will be picked up the same way it was delivered (Curbside, Threshold, or White Glove). There are a few exceptions, however: freight pickup does not include Special Order Kiosk, Custom Installed Programs, or Costco Warehouse Special Event purchases that may include delivery.
When the return is initiated, the carrier will contact you within 5-7 business days using the phone number listed on your order. You can set up a time for them to come by and pick up your order.
Once Costco has confirmed the order is picked up and in transit, they will process your refund. You'll receive a confirmation email once Costco has issued your credit. Costco asks that you allow a few business days for your credit card company or bank to process the credit.
In some instances, Costco may be able to process an exchange order for an item that you have ordered. If you would like us to check on the availability of an exchange order, please contact Costco.

Effective Jan. 5, 2016, major appliances have been added to the Costco Concierge Services program as a new benefit of Costco membership.
With this change, the manufacturer's warranty on major appliances extends to two years. Costco Concierge Services also offers free warranty assistance on top of that.
The specifics of warranty coverage depend on the individual manufacturer, but the two-year length of coverage applies to all manufacturers and all the below-listed appliances. For more info on coverage, you may call the manufacturer directly or call Costco Concierge Services at 1-866-861-0450.
