What is the Standard Return Shipping Policy?
Please ensure that you are only returning items that were purchased at dressbarn.com. We cannot process returns for items that were purchased in our retail stores. If your return total is less than $10.00 or you would prefer to use your own shipping method follow the below steps:
- Pack the item(s) securely in the original product packaging, if possible.
- Complete the return reason questionnaire on the packing slip and include it in the return package.
- Before sending your return shipment, please remove all extra labels from the outside of the package.
- Send the return package to the following address (unless your packing slip directs otherwise):

- If you are not making use of our prepaid shipping label return option, all return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.
- It is recommended that you use an insured shipping method for your return.
- Keep the Return Tracking Number for your return package to monitor delivery status.
- You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase, within 30 days of our receiving the returned order.
- Credit for gift returns will be issued to the original purchaser. Exchanges are available at our retail store locations. If you wish to exchange an item at dressbarn.com, you may return the item(s) and re-order the new item(s) of your choice.
How Do I Return Or Exchange Items Via Return Shipment?
Dressbarn is unable to process exchanges in the online warehouse. You will need to return your merchandise, and then visit the website from which you made your purchase and place a new order for the desired items. Please note: You will be charged for shipping and handling on your new order.
What is Dressbarn's Return Policy?
Returns/Exchanges are gladly accepted within 60 days of the original purchase date for unworn items that have price tickets or defective items. Dressbarn reserves the right to require your name, address, and telephone number on all returns and exchanges, and for returns without a receipt you will be required to present a valid government-issued ID.
If a discount was applied to the original purchase, the return amount will be adjusted accordingly; items assigned a "Return Value" take into account any discount that was given on the original transaction, which shows the price that you will receive if you return the merchandise.
