Can I Change My Delivery Address After I Have Placed My Order?

Please contact Lightake in 24 hours after you have placed your order. You can send an Email to: service@lightake.com with title "Change Address", staff will process your request as a top priority.

What are the Available Shipping Methods?

Lightake offers regular air mail post and registered airmail post shipping methods for free. For larger or urgent orders, customers are welcome to choose EMS Express for faster delivery of products for a nominal upgrade fee to cover cost. The EMS upgrade option and fee information are available via a selection box on the shopping cart page before you checkout.  

Lightake automatically upgrade larger orders to EMS Express for faster delivery. You may check the shipping option in your shopping cart for the words "EMS: free upgrade". 

For countries not served by EMS, Registered Airmail Service will be used instead. In such situation, EMS fee paid will be refunded.

Does Lightake Offer Any Shipping Discount On Multiple Products Purchased?

Lightake offers site-wide free shipping, so you pay nothing on shipping at all. Lightake does offer free EMS upgrades for larger orders for faster delivery.

How are Tax and Customs Duties Handled?

Because Lightake sends products from Hong Kong (a free port), there is no sales tax or duties imposed by the Hong Kong government. Customers do not have to pay any sales tax or export duties when they purchase from Lightake.  

Statistically, well less than 1% percentage of all Lightake orders have ever got opened by the Customs in customers' countries. If the package is checked by their country's customs office when the item arrives in their country, however, customers are responsible for import duties, tariffs, and taxes.  

Although the chance of packages being Customs assessed is small, Lightake strongly encourages all customers to check with their local Customs office for any potential import taxes, duties, and tariffs. In addition, some products may require special licenses or permits to import (such as high powered lasers). Lightake is not responsible for products being confiscated by the Customs in customers' countries.

Which Payment Methods Lightake Does Accept?

Lightake accepts Paypal and Credit Card as payment method right now.

If I Do Not Receive My Order Number, What Should I Do?

For less than 0.01% orders, due to network problem between Paypal and server, your order number may not appear in your lightake account, please contact staff: service@lightake.com, Lightake will check paypal account and confirm your payment and create the order for you manually. Please include your Paypal Email and transaction ID in it.

How to Apply My Store Credit?

For refunds, 98% of the time instant paypal refund is offered. However under certain circumstances instant refunds are not permitted by PayPal (e.g. over time limit, payer account issues, etc).   

LT points = store credit ! 10 LT points = $1, LT points are added into your account by our staff manually.

How to Cancel My Lightake Order?

You can cancel your order only when your order has not been shipped. Please contact Lightake service@lightake.com , Lightake will cancel your order and give you full refund.

Why the Shipping Cost is Free?

Lightake ships the packages via Hong Kong Post Airmail. Lightake's systems are integrated and Lightake has partnership accounts with Hong Kong Post in order to make free shipping offers available.

How to Claim IPR Infringement?

If you find any products sold in Lightake infringes your IPR, please contact sales manager via Email: sales@lightake.com. Lightake will give you respond in 2 working days.

What Should I Do If an Item is Missing From My Order?

How long can I receive my refund?

Refunds are processed within 1-5 business days, after you received confirmation on the cancelation. 

What is My Order Status? And How Long Will It Take to Process My Order?

Once an order request has been received by Lightake, you will receive periodic e-mails from us regarding the processing of your order. Within 24 hours of your order being shipped, you will receive an e-mail that contains the carrier tracking number (when available) for your order.
