Native Remedies FAQ

Do I Have to Pay Sales Tax to Native Remedies?

Sales tax is a tax imposed by state and local jurisdictions on retailers for the privilege of selling tangible goods to consumers. Native Remedies collects the applicable sales tax on all orders shipped to Wisconsin.  Native Remedies does not collect sales or use taxes in any other states. Each state and local jurisdiction has their own calculation and guidelines for what are “taxable goods” and what are exempted. For states imposing sales or use taxes, your purchase is subject to use tax unless it is specifically exempt from taxation. Your purchase is not exempt merely because it is made over the Internet, by catalog or by other remote means. Many states require purchasers to file a sales/use tax return at the end of the year reporting all of the taxable purchases that were not taxed and to pay tax on those purchases.

How Does the Buy Two Get One Free Promotion Work?

Place any 3 eligible items in your cart. The lowest priced item will be made free. Offer is not eligible on certain essential oil diffusers and Combo/UltraPacks. Offer may be ineligible with other promotional codes or offers. Offer is subject to change and may expire without notice.

How Long Until I See Results?

Results will vary. With homeopathic products, you should experience more immediate symptom relief, from half an hour to a day for noticeable relief. Herbal supplements take longer to absorb into your system. While you may notice improvement after a few days, it typically takes 3-6 weeks to experience the full benefits of the supplement. Like any regimen, it is important to follow recommended dosages and be consistent.

What is the Shelf Life Of Products?

Expiration dates are printed either on the bottle label or the bottom of the bottle. For best results, use prior to expiration date, as potency is reduced.

Can I Administer a Higher Dosage Than Recommended?

Homeopathic products work on the principal of frequency, rather than dose. Taking a higher dosage is not as effective as taking an additional dose. Herbal supplements should be administered as directed on the product bottle.

What Forms are These Products Available In?

Native Remedies products are available in liquid tinctures, tablets, small pellets, supplement capsules, and oral spray. Native Remedies also offers an exclusive line of pure essential oils, select blends of loose leaf tea, and an assortment of topical skin health products.

How Can I Use Essential Oils?

Native Remedies's essential oils are made for their intense aromatherapy benefits. They can be either inhaled directly from the bottle, or via use of a diffuser. Essential oils should never be ingested, and Native Remedies's line of 100% pure oils should not be used topically without first mixing with a carrier oil, such as jojoba, coconut, or vegetable oil.

Are There Interactions With Medications?

There are no known drug interactions with homeopathic medicines.

Herbal supplements, however, may contain natural ingredients that could interact with pharmaceutical medication or other conditions.

Be sure to refer to the supplement facts on each bottle, or the "INGREDIENTS" and "HOW TO USE" tabs on each product's web page, for an individual product's specific ingredient cautions and warnings.

In any case, please consult a healthcare professional before use and with any questions or concerns you might have regarding your or your child’s condition.

What is Herbal Supplement Manufacturing Process?

Native Remedies's herbal supplements are manufactured using the Full Spectrum method of extraction. Using the Full Spectrum method ensures our herbal supplements are made with ingredients that remain as close to their natural makeup as possible.

What is the Dual Modality Approach?

Native Remedies believes that natural remedies work best together, which is why Native Remedies support a dual modality approach to holistic health. Native Remedies's assortment of remedies includes homeopathic medicines for fast-acting symptomatic relief as well as herbal supplements to address systemic body functioning and long-term health.

What is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy is based on the Law of Similars principle developed by German doctor and scientist Samuel Hahnemann in the late 18th century. The Law of Similars, otherwise known as "like cures like", is the belief that when large doses of a substance cause certain symptoms in a healthy person, smaller doses of that same substance can relieve the same symptoms in an affected person.

Homeopathic medicines are made from natural substances such as minerals, herbs, or other organic materials. Natural substances are first crushed and dissolved in liquid, making a tincture. The tinctures are then diluted many times over, using the homeopathic belief that highly diluted forms of an original substance make the medicine more effective in engaging the body's natural healing processes.

Once diluted, homeopathic medicines (available over-the-counter) are presented in many forms, such as sprays, liquids, or added to sugar pellets or tablets.

Homeopathic medicines offer short-term relief of temporary symptoms with no risk of side effects or known interactions with pharmaceutical drugs.
