How to Split My Payment?

For some packages, you can split your payment between a primary and a secondary debit / credit card. 

To split your payment:

  1. On the Payment page, select the Split Payments tab.
  2. From the drop-down menu, select the amount to be charged to your primary card.
  3. Complete the Credit card information for both cards.
  4. Select Complete this booking.

How to Make a Single Payment?

When you book your package, you can always make a single payment online. For some packages, you might also have the option to: 

  • Split your payment between 2 debit or credit cards.
  • Book with a deposit and pay the remainder later.
  • Pay with installments.

Which Flight Payment Options Does Orbitz Accept?

Pay online
You must pay for your flight in full when you book. You can pay online with a debit or credit card. Orbitz does not accept deposits or installment payments. 

How Refund Timelines Works?

  • Your refund will be processed to your original method(s) of payment, 
  • Orbitz may take up to 24 hours to process your refund. Once your refund is processed, your financial institution may take up to 7 days to post the credit to your account, and up to 2 billing cycles to show the credit on your statement.
  • Your Orbitz refund receipt email contains details regarding your refund amount, how, and when you'll get your refund.
  • If your credit card statement includes a charge from a third party (e.g., a low-cost airline, rental car company, or cruise line), you will receive your refund from that third party, not Orbitz. Please contact the respective third party regarding refund timelines and related questions.
  • If you're eligible for a refund and paid for your entire booking with Orbucks, you will receive your refund in Orbucks (minus any cancellation fees, which will be deducted from your Orbucks).
  • If you're eligible for a refund and paid for your booking with Orbucks and a credit card, you will receive your refund in Orbucks and on your credit card. Any cancellation fees will be deducted from the Orbucks portion of your refund first, followed by the credit card portion, if necessary.

How to Change Or Cancel My Car Rental?

To cancel your standalone car rental booking

  1. Sign in to view your bookings.
  2. In Upcoming, select the itinerary you wish to cancel.
  3. In Manage Booking, select Cancel Reservation, then CANCEL THIS RESERVATION.

To cancel a standalone car rental you booked without signing in

  1. Go to Find your itinerary without signing in.
  2. Enter your email address and itinerary number, and select Find itinerary.
  3. Under Manage Booking, select Cancel Reservation, then CANCEL THIS RESERVATION.

How to Cancel My Hotel Booking?

You can cancel most hotel bookings online without penalty, if you cancel before the hotel's cancellation deadline. 

To cancel your hotel booking

  1. Sign in to view your bookings.
  2. In Upcoming, select the itinerary you wish to cancel.
  3. In Manage Booking, select Cancel Room and follow the instructions.

How to View My Flight Booking Confirmation?

What to do 

  • Go to My Trips to view, email, or print your itinerary or receipt.
  • View your confirmation email.
  • If you booked without signing in, go to Find your itinerary.
  • If you forgot your itinerary number, go to Forgot your itinerary number.

If you don't see your itinerary in My Trips, it could be because you booked without signing in.

How to Cancel My Flight At Orbitz?

You can cancel most flight bookings online. For some airfares, if you cancel within 24 hours, no penalty fees apply. 

If you cancel a non-refundable flight reservation, the airline may issue you a flight credit for a future booking instead of a refund. For more information, please read Use your flight credit. Some flight reservations are not eligible for a flight credit after cancellation. If you cancel one of these reservations, you will lose the value of your ticket.

Before you cancel your flight, review the Airline Rules & Regulations portion of your itinerary for any airline cancellation fees. Any applicable fees are always charged by the airline, not Orbitz.

To cancel your flight booking online

  1. Sign in to view your bookings.
  2. In Upcoming, select the itinerary you wish to cancel.
  3. Select Cancel Flight under Manage Booking.
