There is no limit to the number of pets owners can register for reduced cost service.

What Documents Do I Need to Bring With Me to Register At PDSA?

You will need to bring with you proof of your benefits (dated within last 12 months) and photo ID (passport, driving licence, bank card). Although PDSA will always ask for proof of photo ID, if you don’t have any let PDSA know and we can arrange an alternative.

If you require any further information, please contact your local PDSA Pet Hospital or PDSA Pet Clinic.

How Do You Qualify for PDSA Treatment?

PDSA would love to treat all sick and injured pets, but unfortunately limited funds mean that we have to set eligibility criteria for free and reduced cost veterinary services to ensure they help owners most in need.

How Does PDSA Fund Its Veterinary Services?

PDSA does not receive any money from the Government or any National Lottery funding. PDSA is entirely funded by public support. To help them continue what they do, they ask all pet owners to make a contribution of whatever they can afford towards their pet’s treatment. PDSA is grateful for all the donations and contributions that they receive.

What Type Of Treatments Do We Carry Out At Pet Hospitals?

At PDSA our Pet Hospitals provide a wide range of vet treatments and services, helping hundreds of thousands of pets every year.

PDSA offers everything from major surgery to fix broken bones or treat serious illness, to more routine services such as vaccinations and flea treatments, which help keep pets healthy and happy. Our vet teams are all fully trained and qualified, and we are extremely proud of the high quality care delivered every day, throughout the UK.

As a charity, PDSA must make the best possible use of their limited funds and reach as many pet owners as possible. So it is simply not possible to offer every procedure that may be available in some more specialist private practices and hospitals. Where such treatment is needed, PDSA would talk to the owner about referring their pet for treatment elsewhere.

What are PDSA Veterinary Services?

PDSA is the UK’s largest veterinary charity covering England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland:

  • 48 PDSA Pet Hospitals and PDSA Pet Clinics – staffed and manned by PDSA.
