I Am Placing a Very Large Order That Weighs More Than 100 Lb. How Will This Affect the Shipping for My Order?

Very large products and products that weigh more than 100 lb. cannot be shipped to customers by the same method that is used for smaller products; an alternate delivery method, over-the-road common carrier truck (LTL), must be used. If you place an order on TractorSupply.com and it qualifies for delivery via over-the-road common carrier truck, you will be contacted by a Customer Solutions team member to confirm this ship type with you and schedule a delivery time and date. A signature will be required at the time of the delivery. Allow an additional 4-7 business days for delivery.

Can I Track My Order Online At Tractor Supply Company?

Yes. If you're a registered user, you can access your online account to check your order status and updates. Or without logging in, you can go to the order status page and use your order number and the zip code of the order's shipping address to view the order status. Once the order has been shipped, you can use the tracking number provided from your shipping confirmation e-mail or the order status page, and go to the carrier's website to continue tracking the shipment. Shipment tracking is available on carrier's website once your product is received by the carrier, usually one day delay from when you receive the shipping confirmation e-mail.

Can I Call My Local Store and Have an Item Shipped to Me?

How Do I Place a Tax-exempt Order Online?

You cannot currently place a tax-exempt order online. However, you can place a tax-exempt order by phone. Please call the Customer Solutions Center at 1-877-718-6750 and have your tax-exempt ID number available.

What is a Payment Pre-authorization?

On orders paid with a credit or debit card, a payment pre-authorization is applied as soon as the order is submitted to reserve the total of your order while it is being processed. Once the order has actually shipped, the pre-authorized payment is eliminated and replaced with the actual 'charge' for the order. 

If, for any reason, the order does not ship or there is a problem with the product, the payment pre-authorization will generally disappear from your account after 3-5 business days, based on your banking institution's policy.

After I Choose a Payment Type, How Soon Will Tractor Supply Company Charge My Account?

Credit and debit cards are charged for the total of your order once the item ships. The total or the order funds are reserved as a pre-authorization when the order is placed and is removed if the order is canceled. Gift cards are debited as soon as the order is submitted.
