You can track the status of your refund by visiting Trip Help and selecting your itinerary from the drop-down menu.

• Rebooked flights and any redeemed airline flight credit must be for the same traveler and on the same airline as the original booking.
• If you fail to board your departing flight, the airline will automatically cancel your return flight, unless you booked a roundtrip flight with 2 one-way fares.
• If you find booking mistakes, such as incorrect traveler names, see Flight booking mistakes page.

You can cancel most flight bookings online. For some airfares, if you cancel within 24 hours, no penalty fees apply. 

If you cancel a non-refundable flight reservation, the airline may issue you a flight credit for a future booking instead of a refund. Some flight reservations are not eligible for a flight credit after cancellation. If you cancel one of these reservations, you will lose the value of your ticket.

Before you cancel your flight, review the Airline Rules & Regulations portion of your itinerary for any airline cancellation fees.

What to do:

• Go to My Trips to view, email, or print your itinerary or receipt. 
• View your confirmation email.
• If you booked without signing in, go to Find your itinerary.
• If you forgot your itinerary number, go to Forgot your itinerary number.

If you don't see your itinerary in My Trips, it could be because:

• You booked without signing in.
• You booked with Expedia+ points. These bookings can take up to 24 hours after booking to show in My Trips.

• Some hotels may impose non-refundable rate plans or fees that Expedia is required to pass on to you. 
• Penalty fees are highest when cancellations occur within 48 hours of your scheduled check-in date.

To change your hotel booking :

1. Sign in to view your bookings. 
2. In Upcoming, select the itinerary you wish to change. 
3. In Hotel overview, select Change this reservation and follow the instructions. 
4. If the Change link sent you to this article, it means your reservation cannot be changed online. You will need to cancel and rebook.
