For all Canadian orders, an additional $15 per order is applied. The taxes and duties levied on imported goods is up to the discretion of the customs agent in the country of importation. It is the responsibility of the importer (international customer) to be aware of the relevant laws and taxes that their country imposes on them.

Nearly all fashion items purchased from Touch of Modern are returnable for store credit within 7 days of receiving the item. TOUCH OF MODERN will arrange a return label for free return shipping. Upon receipt of the fashion item and processing the item into the warehouse, you will receive the store credit.

All orders have tracking numbers assigned to them once a shipping label is generated for an order.

Products ship from the designer to Touch of Modern's fulfillment center in bulk. Once they arrive, they repackage and send the products straight to you within 24 hours. Your package will be shipped domestically via FedEx or USPS.

Some designers are willing to ship the product directly to you, in which case it will skip the warehouse of TOUCH OF MODERN.

In the top-right corner, you can click on your user name to allow a drop down menu to show. From here, you can click on “Order History” page which will direct you to all completed transactions you have made with Touch of Modern. Here, you can check on your items ordered, order payment summary and available tracking numbers. TOUCH OF MODERN also sends Order Update emails with all your shipping status updates.

As soon as a sale ends, TOUCH OF MODERN will place a single bulk order with the designer, who prepares the order and ships it to their warehouse. Once TOUCH OF MODERN receives the shipment, they break down the bulk cartons of products, repackage everything, and ship out everyone’s individual orders.

In order to offer the lowest possible prices, TOUCH OF MODERN is required to be a members only site by a large number of their designers. This allows TOUCH OF MODERN to list great products for the community while keeping their designers happy. It’s the same reason why you need to show your membership card before you walk into Costco, even if you aren’t buying anything.

Touch Of Modern was started by Dennis Liu, Jonathan Wu, Steven Ou, and Jerry Hum, four guys who love modern design. They appreciate things of quality, beauty, and value, and feel that buying cheap, crappy products is a waste of money. At the same time, TOUCH OF MODERN doesn’t believe in overspending just because "the market" determines a high price. TOUCH OF MODERN started Touch of Modern because they knew that great value could be found at any price point.

The first sales were originally sourced, sold, packed and shipped right out of their living room. Now, TOUCH OF MODERN has an entire team dedicated to ensuring that all the moving parts of Touch Of Modern are working smoothly. TOUCH OF MODERN is still working on improving every day.
