You can then display the copy in your car and take the original away with you.
The AA are on hand 20 hours a day and will be able to assist you. Otherwise, our operations team can provide a jump start.
If you pre-book your parking, you are guaranteed a space, so there’s no need to worry.
Please consider that if you turn up on the day, there is a chance that you’ll be diverted to an alternative car that may cost more.
CCTV covers the entry and exit barriers of our car parks and overlooks the customer service areas and payment machines.
Car parks are regularly patrolled and Long Stay options are perimeter fenced.
If you’ve purchased Long Stay or Summer Special Parking then the bus transfer to the terminal is included in the price.
Buses operate on a 24-hour service between the car park and the terminal, 365 days a year. It takes between 5 to 10 minutes to reach the South Terminal and 7 to 12 minutes to get to the North.
Your airline should advise you on how early you should arrive at the airport.
Please remember to allow time to park and get from the car park into the terminal, particularly if you are parking in either the Long Stay or Summer Special car parks.
You can amend the details of the car attached to your booking up to 24 hours before you’re due to arrive at the airport.
Simply log in to the Manage My Booking section, click ‘amend booking’ then change the registration details in the relevant box.
If you make any changes within 24 hours of your arrival time, please speak to a team member at the customer service desk on arrival.
Your booking reference can be found on the confirmation email sent to you after booking. It begins LGW (e.g. LGW-DW-1234567).
Where you book parking, a flight through GatwickConnects or a premium product, we use personal data to process and administer your booking, including: to reserve your parking/product, to send you booking confirmation, to send you service information such as expiry reminders or traffic information, to ensure your car is ready for collection (e.g. if your flight is early or late), to store you preferences for future bookings and for our internal accounting and business administration purposes.
CCTV images and the identify of those persons in them (to the extent we know them) may be shared with the Civil Aviation Authority, law enforcement, security services or other public authorities for instance in connection with specific incidents or security reviews.
We will not retain personal data specifically for this purpose. We will only use personal data for this purpose where we already hold it for another purpose.
Personal data may be shared with the Department for Transport, Civil Aviation Authority and/or the securities services for security purposes.
