Why Am I Being Charged Sales Tax?

To increase customer convenience, PetCareRx has partnered with over 60,000 pharmacies across the United States (e.g., CVS, Walgreens, or Walmart). Customers can now choose to either have their orders delivered to their doorstep or to pick up their prescriptions from a neighborhood pharmacy. As a result of these partnerships and local tax regulations, some of your items may be subject to sales tax. If an item is subject to sales tax in the location to which the order is shipped or in which the item is purchased, tax will generally be calculated on the total selling price, after all discounts, for each individual item in accordance with applicable tax laws.
