If you purchased heartworm preventative from PetCareRx, and your pet contracted heartworm while on continuous use of the heartworm preventative on a monthly basis, you may be eligible for treatment reimbursement.
You must provide proof of a negative heartworm test completed within 9 months prior to you starting your medication purchased from PetCareRx. PetCareRx will also need confirmation of current heartworm test showing positive results. Upon evaluation of your case, PetCareRx will reimburse for the cost of your pets treatment of heartworm. Reimbursement is limited up to $700.00 per pet.
If you purchased Flea and Tick treatment (Frontline, Advantage, K9 Advantix, Program, Capstar) from PetCareRx and you have somehow found indication that the treatment may have failed, then guarantee will apply.
If your pet becomes infested with fleas and/or ticks while using flea and tick treatment, PetCareRx will work to provide a one-time alternative to resolve your issue, or refund you for the cost of the treatment you purchased.

If you need to cancel an order, please call PetCareRx toll free at 1-800-844-1427 as soon as possible. If your order has yet to ship, PetCareRx can cancel it free of charge. If your order has already shipped, it will be subject to PetCareRx's return policy.

If an item is subject to sales tax in the location to which the order is shipped or in which the item is purchased, tax will generally be calculated on the total selling price, after all discounts, for each individual item in accordance with applicable tax laws.

As a verified .Pharmacy pharmacy (a program of the NABP), PetCareRx can dispense your pets prescriptions with a veterinarians authorization. During checkout of your order placement the step 4 process will request your veterinarians contact information for authorization purposes. A drop down menu will allow you to select an option for PetCareRx to contact your veterinarian for approval or if you have a written prescription you may mail the original signed copy to pharmacy located at:

If you choose to mail it in, please include your order ID on the prescription so that we may link it to your order. Once your order is placed it will be on hold for 7 days to allow time for PetCareRx to receive the prescription. Once the approval has been processed, your order will be shipped and delivered within 3-7 business days.
