How Should I Store/Protect My Jewelry?

Jewelry should be kept dry. If your jewelry is not used frequently, keep it stored in the provided dust bag. Good storage boxes are lined with tarnish-proof fabric and have a separate space for each individual piece. If your climate is humid, place a small packet of desiccant crystals inside your storage area. Avoid storing the jewelry with rubber products. Always remove your jewelry when applying colognes, perfumes or other chemical products.

Chlorine, especially at elevated temperatures, can permanently damage or discolor your gold jewelry. Gently clean your gold or vermeil jewelry with a soft polishing cloth. Be sure not to over-polish jewelry, especially vermeil, because it can damage the finish.

What is the Return/Exchange Policy?

GLD accepts returns/exchanges within 14 days of the date your item was delivered. If you would like to return/exchange any item(s), an authorization form is required. To obtain an Authorization Form, please contact customer support via telephone at 855-252-3775, email, or via their customer support chat line. Solid Gold items are not subject to returns, due to the fact that each piece is made to order. Some Solid Gold items may be subject to exchange. Please contact the customer support team if your Solid Gold item is eligible for exchange. Apparel is returnable within 14 days of purchase, if it is in unworn condition with the tags attached. 

GLD will reimburse or pay for return shipping only in the event that we have erred. For example: if GLD were to send you the incorrect piece of jewelry, or article of clothing.

How Long Does It Take for Shipping?

USPS Priority Mail is used for all Standard Shipping deliveries, which will arrive within approximately 4-8 business days. Expedited Shipping is also available, and your preferred expedited method can be selected at checkout. Your tracking number will be sent automatically via email. Please allow up to 24 hours after the completion of your purchase for order confirmation to generate. Also, please be aware GLD’s shipping facility is closed on weekends.  

For international orders you can select either of the following options:  

  1. DHL Express (Recommended) which will arrive in 2-5 business days (Tracking and insurance provided)  
  2. USPS International Priority (6-18 days Tracking provided until package leaves U.S. only and Insurance must be purchased separately). USPS shipments come with the package's customs number indicating when the package leaves the United States. USPS orders may be subject to a customs tax upon entering international countries, so please understand your country's import laws before using USPS .

GLD ships to Military and Diplomatic Addresses (APO & AFO) free of charge. Orders to these addresses, however, cannot be expedited. They will arrive in 4-8 business days - standard delivery.  

Please note that all solid gold, diamond, or custom orders are made to order. These orders may take 10-15 business days to process due to each piece being individually made and inspected for quality assurance. They will be shipped via registered delivery and will include full insurance.

How Does the Lifetime Guarantee Work?

GLD is committed to providing the highest standard of jewelry – which is why they offer a Lifetime Guarantee for all purchases of Gold Plated/Vermeil jewelry. If your product damages, fades, or breaks during normal wear, the Guarantee entitles you to a one-time replacement of the piece - free of charge. If for any reason we no longer carry the item, you are permitted to exchange your piece for another of equal or lesser value.
